Caregiver Coaching and Training

Empowering the Heart of the Home Care Team

Behind every successful patient is a confident caregiver. Whether you are a parent managing a child’s new asthma diagnosis or a spouse supporting a partner with chronic lung disease, the responsibility can feel heavy.

At Airway360 Education, we believe that the caregiver is the most important member of the medical team. Our Caregiver Coaching Program is designed to move you from “getting by” to “taking charge,” giving you the clinical skills and emotional resilience needed to manage respiratory health at home.

Clinical Skill Mastery

We provide hands-on training that goes beyond the “quick demo” at the pharmacy.

The “Perfect Technique” Audit: We ensure you can confidently administer inhalers, spacers, and nebulizers for your loved one. Emergency Recognition: Learn the clinical signs of respiratory distress (retractions, color changes, or altered mental status) before they escalate. Equipment Maintenance: Proper sanitization and troubleshooting for oxygen concentrators, suction machines, and spacers to prevent secondary infections.

The “360 Hand-Off” System

Caregiving is rarely a one-person job. We help you create a system so that care is consistent, even when you aren’t there.

The Caregiver Briefing Template: A simple way to update babysitters, teachers, or secondary relatives on the daily routine and emergency protocols. Standardizing the Action Plan: Ensuring every member of the family uses the same language and triggers for “Yellow Zone” interventions.

Medical Advocacy & Navigation (The MHA Edge)

With a background in Healthcare Administration, I coach you on how to navigate the complex medical system.

Doctor Visit Prep: How to track and present data (symptom logs, peak flow trends) so your physician can make better-informed decisions. Advocacy Coaching: Learning how to ask the right questions and ensure your loved one’s needs are being met by the broader medical team.

Behavioral Health: Caring for the Caregiver

The “caregiver burden” is real. We provide the tools to help you stay mentally and physically strong.

Panic Response Training: Techniques to keep yourself calm during your loved one’s flare-ups. Burnout Prevention: Strategies for setting boundaries and organizing care to allow for much-needed rest. The “Guilt-Free” Routine: Simplifying daily management so it becomes a habit, not a chore.
